CHATEAU DE PEUFEILHOUX Dans la région de l’Auvergne, à quelques kilomètres de la village pittoresque Vallon-en-Sully, vous trouverez Château de Peufeilhoux. Le château est un bâtiment qui date du 16ème siècle, avec une ambiance agréable et historique. Nos quatre chambres d’hôtes sont spacieuses, confortables et très agréables. Vous pouvez aussi choisir un séjour dans l’ancienne conciergerie où dans la maison d’hôtes. Les deux sont des gîtes aménagés pour passer vos vacances en grand confort. La conciergerie est une maison de charme dans un bâtiment caractéristique sur le cour du château avec son propre jardin clos. La maison d’hôtes est complètement indépendant en vous donnant le sens de vivre en plein campagne et en toute liberté. Vous disposez même d’une piscine privée. Trois fois par semaine nous vous offrons la table d’hôtes. Savourez un menu de quatre cours avec produits régionaux et de notre potager. Le dîner est servi dans un salon du château où sur la terrasse avec vue impressionnante sur la vallée du Cher. Le château se trouve sur un domaine de 12,5 hectares sur une colline entouré de prés et forêts. Les environs vous invitent de faire de longues promenades, par exemple dans le fameux Forêt de Tronçais qui se trouve à proximité de Château de Peufeilhoux. Nous vous préparons un pique-nique si vous le désirez. Dans la région vous pouvez aussi visiter les villages charmantes où les châteaux historiques du Pays des Bourbonnais, jouez au golf.Mais rien n’est obligatoire. CHÂTEAU PEUFEILHOUX Aan de noordrand van de Auvergne, vlakbij het charmante dorpje Vallon-en-Sully, vindt u Château de Peufeilhoux. Het château is een uniek pand uit de 16e eeuw, met een sfeervol, ‘historisch’ karakter. De 4 gastenkamers zijn ruim, comfortabel en sfeervol ingericht. U kunt ook kiezen voor een verblijf in de oude Conciergerie of in de gastenwoning. Beide zijn volledig ingericht als vakantiewoning voor 4 tot 6 personen. De Conciergerie is een knus familiehuis in een karakteristiek bijgebouw aan de binnenplaats en heeft een eigen besloten tuin. De gastenwoning is geheel vrij gelegen en heeft een eigen zwembad. Drie avonden in de week kunt u intekenen voor de table d'hôtes. Lekker genieten van een 4 gangen diner met producten uit de streek en eigen moestuin, geserveerd in de sfeervolle eetzaal of op het op het zuiden gelegen terras met prachtig uitzicht over het dal van de rivier de Cher. Het domein van Château de Peufeilhoux is totaal 12,5 hectare groot. Het ligt op een heuvel temidden van bossen en weilanden. De omgeving leent zich om een picknickmand mee te nemen en lange wandelingen te maken, bijvoorbeeld naar het nabij gelegen Forêt de Tronçais. Ook een uitstapje naar één van de karakteristieke stadjes in de omgeving, één of meerdere dagen golfen of het bezoeken van de karakteristieke château’s in de Allier behoren tot de mogelijkheden. CHÂTEAU PEUFEILHOUX In the northern part of the Auvergne, close to the charming village Vallon-en-Sully, you will find Château de Peufeilhoux. The château is a unique 16th century building, with many original details that give the Château its historical character. The 4 guestrooms are spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. As another possibility you could choose to stay in the conciergerie or our guesthouse. Both are fully equipped as holiday homes for 4 to 6 persons. The conciergerie is a warm family home, situated on the inner court. It has a private enclosed garden. The guesthouse is located on the further end of the domain which ensures privacy. It has its own swimming pool. You can sign on for our table d’hôtes three evenings per week. Enjoy a 4 course dinner prepared for the most part with locally or home grown products. Dinner is served in the dining room or on the south facing terrace overlooking the Cher valley. The Château de Peufeilhoux domain measures about 12,5 hectares. It is situated on top of a hill surrounded by pastures and woodlands. The surrounding area is ideally suited to take a picnic basket and set of on a hike, for example to the nearby Forêt de Tronçais. Other possibilities for daytrips include a visit to one of the characteristic villages in the area, playing golf on one of the nearby golf courses and visiting other interesting châteaux of which there are many in the Allier. But you are of course under no obligations.
