CHÂTEAU DE PEUFEILHOUX
In the northern part of the Auvergne, close to the charming village Vallon-en-Sully, you will find Château de Peufeilhoux. The château is a unique early 20th century building with 16th century foundations and many original details that give the château it's historical character.

Pleasant and comfortable stay
Our guestrooms are spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Should you prefer to stay in a fully equipped family holiday home, we can offer you one of our three guesthouses, the Old Conciergerie, Petit Peuf, or our apartment Les Tuiles.

The guesthouses are fully equipped as holiday homes for 4 to 7 persons. The Conciergerie is a warm family home, situated on the inner court. It has a private enclosed garden. Petit Peuf is located on the further end of the domain which ensures privacy. It has its own swimming pool. Les Tuiles is a spacious apartment with a splendid view of the castle.

Enjoy a four course dinner
Sign in for our table d’hôtes dinner. Enjoy a dinner prepared for the most part with locally or home grown products. Dinner is served in the dining room or on the south facing terrace overlooking the Cher Valley.

No obligations
The Château de Peufeilhoux domain measures about 12,5 hectares. It is situated on top of a hill surrounded by pastures and woodlands. The surrounding area is ideally suited to take a picnic basket and set of on a hike or on horseback, for example to the nearby Forêt de Tronçais. Other possibilities for daytrips include a visit to one of the characteristic villages in the area, playing golf on one of the nearby golf courses and visiting other interesting châteaux of which there are many in the Pays des Bourbons.

But you are of course under no obligations. Staying with us means that you are free to lounge your time away in a hammock, have a refreshing swim in the pool in the gardens of the château, or settle with a book in front of the open fire in the library.
