Among the most beautiful oak forests
in Europe. You can make long or short walks, make
a trip on a mountain bike, relax at one of the
small lakes, or join an excursion led by a local

Golf
If you like to play golf, you will find a nice
golf course at a 5 minutes drive from Château
de Peufeilhoux. Our partners are Golf du Val de
Cher - Montluçon in the village of Nassigny.
They have 18 holes, par 70 and 5,450 meters. The
club welcomes non-members to play one or more
days.

The northern part of the Auvergne region has many
castles dating back to the age of the Dukes of
Bourbon.

In the Allier many cities and
villages are worth visiting; Montluçon
with its medieval centre, Vichy with its historical
thermal centres, and the well known wine village
of Saint-Pourçain.
